Poland U21 v England U21, Kielce

European Under 21 Championships 2017
Group A
Poland Under 21 v England Under 21
Kolporter Arena, Kielce, Poland
22 Jun 2017

The Young Lions were drawn to play all of their three group games in Kielce. This was the last group game and with England sitting on top of the group following a 1:1 draw with Sweden and a narrow victory against Slovakia it was  within our hands to make the semi final. Tickets were a bit of a nuisance to get hold of due to the FA not taking an official allocation and the fact we were playing the hosts. That said,  I got there in the end and didn't pay too much.

The Kielce Stadium (Kolporter Arena) is a unique stadium which seems quite open to the elements despite being totally covered. It holds 15,500 and was close to capacity for this encounter.
