Tickets for the Russian Premier League are not difficult to come by as matches seldom sell out. Spartak have a very user friendly website and internet sales are the way ahead. Just bring your proof of purchase which has a barcode on to and exchange it for the real thing pictured above.
The last time I was here was with Sue for the World Cup Round of 16 match between England and Colombia in July. This was a much cooler affair, with temperatures around - 5 C.
Spartak Stadium is officially known as the Otkritie Arena after the sponsor Otkritie Holding. This will be the name of the stadium until 2019. The stadium opened in 2014 at a cost of 200 million Euros and has a capacity of 45,360.
